Lovejoy Marozhe

Learning Designer

Lovejoy supports the design, development, and enhancement of online, blended and hybrid learning experiences across UCT.

He works with academics to design courses, develop assessments, and integrate digital tools that strengthen teaching and learning. His role includes building course sites, supporting technology‑enhanced pedagogy, and contributing to CILT projects focused on digital learning innovation, learning analytics and socially responsive curriculum design.

His key areas of work include curriculum and learning design, digital learning innovation, online assessment support, and the use of learning analytics to improve student engagement.

Lovejoy holds a Master of Education in Educational Technology (UCT) and a PGDip in Educational Technology (UCT), supported by specialised training in instructional design, online facilitation, digital pedagogy and learning‑technology support. With more than 15 years’ experience across higher education, corporate learning and instructional design, he brings strong expertise in course development, technology‑enhanced teaching, project management and the full online learning design lifecycle.
