Azraa Dawood
Azraa leads strategic communication at CILT, shaping how teaching and learning initiatives are understood, engaged with and taken up across the university. Her work focuses on moving beyond dissemination towards meaningful engagement, ensuring that communication supports institutional priorities and enhances the visibility and impact of CILT’s work.
She works across a range of portfolios, including institutional campaigns, digital platforms and stakeholder communication, with a focus on aligning messaging to strategy and audience needs. Her approach brings together communication, data and user insight to strengthen how teaching and learning initiatives are positioned and experienced.

Azraa holds a BTech in Public Relations Management and is currently pursuing further studies in Psychology. She is a communications and marketing professional with experience in higher education, specialising in strategy development, digital engagement, and data-informed communication. Her work focuses on translating complex ideas into accessible, impactful communication that supports inclusive, student-centered teaching and learning, with a particular interest in how data can be used to understand user behaviour and improve communication effectiveness.
