Soraya Lester

Soraya is PhD student at UCT and is currently working as a Research Assistant on two projects within CILT. She has worked with the MOOC Takers Research Project Team since 2019, exploring the value of MOOCs taken by people living in Africa. She is also working on the UCT Assessment Project, an initiative of the Assessment Framework Working Group, which seeks to explore ways to enable student success through transformed programmes of assessment. Her research background is in intervention science, with a focus on monitoring and evaluation and violence prevention.
