Lynn Chambers
Lynn supports the academic development of staff at UCT through the coordination, implementation and ongoing evaluation of the CILT Events programme. She also teaches on the short courses and postgraduate programmes offered by CILT, with a focus on digital education, and is an active member of UCT’s AI in Education Community of Practice.

With 15 years of experience in a variety of educational settings including three higher education institutions in South Africa, Lynn has been recognised for excellence in teaching, receiving multiple Lecturer of the Year awards during her years of working with undergraduate students. Her work demonstrates a commitment to socially just and participatory pedagogies. She holds a master’s degree in education from UCT and is currently working on her PhD focusing on reconfiguring teaching and learning in Higher Education in South Africa in the age of artificial intelligence, through a posthumanist lens.
