Manager: Digital Education Production and Operations

Cath Robb manages the Course Production Unit within CILT, providing strategic project and operational support to the Course Curriculum and Design team and academics across the university.

Her role centres on project managing course development and design, scoping digital learning requests, project managing largescale university wide initiatives such as the Amathuba migration and the AI in Education Framework implementation, alongside budget, contract, and workflow oversight. 

Key areas include project and systems management, digital course production (short courses, Postgraduate Diplomas, MOOCs, bespoke projects), multimedia coordination, and stakeholder engagement. She also manages all learning design contract staff.

Colleagues can engage with her to scope university wide projects requiring CILT assistance, for costingand production advice, to coordinate crossteam delivery and all other learning design and production related queries.

A senior digital education and project management professional with extensive media publishing and highereducation experience, she is recognised for delivering complex projects, establishing scalable production systems, and enabling reliable, institutionwide delivery that strengthens CILT’s capacity, consistency, and impact.
