Unlocking the potential of the podcast studio begins with a simple yet rigorous booking process. Each request undergoes meticulous scrutiny by our esteemed committee to ensure alignment with our educational mission. We believe in quality over quantity, prioritising projects that enrich the teaching and learning experience.

We are in a phased approach of providing access to the podcast studio. Currently in the initial phase, we focus on identifying case users for teaching, learning linked to course codes. This foundational stage ensures that every recording serves a meaningful educational purpose, elevating the academic discourse.

As we progress through subsequent phases, we aim to enhance accessibility and streamline the booking experience. Our second phase introduces a sophisticated booking system, empowering users to schedule studio time with ease while maintaining the integrity of our educational mandate. We are also looking at providing a video component to the services that will be offered in multi-camera mode at a cost to users.

Looking ahead to the final phase, we envision a future where the podcast studio becomes a vibrant hub where our teaching and academic staff can access the podcast studio that can enhance UCT's Vision 2030. Together, we can harness the power of audio storytelling to inspire, educate, and shape the future of higher education.
