Kristin van Tonder
Kristin is a Learning Designer at CILT, in the CHL team, where she supports and enhances teaching and learning in blended and online environments. She works closely with academic and professional staff to design, review and improve courses, ensuring alignment between pedagogy, technology and curriculum goals.
Her work focuses on accessibility, curriculum and course design, digital learning development, and the effective use of learning technologies. She also contributes to the development of staff support resources and learning materials, and to projects that strengthen the integration of digital learning across the institution.

Kristin has over five years of experience in higher education learning design and academic support, with a focus on online learning and accessibility. She holds degrees in Molecular Biology and Psychology, a PGCE, and an Honours degree in Education, and is currently completing a Master’s in Education. Her work reflects a strong commitment to digital transformation in education.
