Mary-Ann Fife
Senior Project Coordinator and Online Learning Designer
Mary-Ann is a Senior Project Coordinator and Online Learning Designer working with the Science, Engineering and Health Science Faculties. Before completing her Masters in Educational Technology in 2016, she worked in Marketing but jumped at the opportunity to join the CILT team, initially on the Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) Project. She also worked as a freelance learning designer for higher education institutions and non profit organisations both locally and abroad, as well as in learning analytics, before boomeranging back to CILT.
Mary-Ann’s current interests include:
1. How we as a global HE community will transition from emergency remote teaching (ERT) to effective, sustainable and inclusive online and blended teaching models;
2. The skills transfer process of learning design practices between learning designers and academics staff;
3. Authentic assessment and problem-based learning and how this translates in an online and blended context.
