Seta joined CILT (previously CET) as a Learning Technologies Consultant in September 2010 from UCT Libraries, where she worked as a Training and Information Services Librarian based in the Knowledge Commons, from March 2004 to August 2010. As a Senior Learning Technologies Consultant from April 2018 to March 2020 and then as a part-time consultant from April 2020 onwards, Seta’s role primarily includes supporting the use of the two online learning management systems used at UCT, i.e. Vula (Sakai-based) and Amathuba (D2L Brightspace), Turnitin, Lecture Recording and other learning technologies for teaching and learning that CILT manages on behalf of UCT.
