Nadine Hamman
Senior Project Coordinator and Online Learning Designer
Nadine, who resides in George, has more than 15 years of experience in the higher education industry working on various sides of the teaching fence: as a student and lecturer (both in various modalities), teaching assistant, digital teaching laboratory manager, learning designer and learning strategist (lead learning designer). Before joining CILT, she worked as a learning strategist leading learning design teams at Construct Education. Here, the creation of hybrid courses for a doctorate in physical therapy (University of Pittsburgh) and a fully online MBA (University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business) stand out as two highlights.Previously, as the Digital Teaching Laboratory Manager at UNISA, she was responsible for training and assisting faculty in the use of the innovative JoinIn platform, a video conferencing tool aimed at scaling educational practices in both synchronous and asynchronous fashion. This experience illustrated how the pedagogy of care is woven into the fibre of her being, a trait she carries in both her professional and personal life.
