Corné Oosthuizen
Corné is a Senior Developer in Learning Technologies Development at CILT, where he designs and builds web and application-based systems that support teaching and learning. His work focuses on developing usable, user-friendly solutions that simplify complex processes and improve overall user experience.
He works on expanding and enhancing learning tools within Amathuba, UCT’s learning management system, with a particular focus on lecture recording, captioning and transcription services to support accessibility and inclusive learning. He also supports the integration of open-source technologies such as Opencast and Tsugi, and contributes to projects that strengthen the university’s digital learning environment.
