5‑Day Asynchronous Mini‑Course (approx 12 hours notional time)

Build confidence in designing, facilitating, and assessing your modules on UCT’s Learning Management System, Amathuba. Over five days, you’ll get a practical walk‑through with hands‑on tasks you can immediately apply to a live course site or sandbox site.

You’ll learn to:

  • Set up a welcoming, accessible home page
  • Import sites and add files
  • Manage participant roles
  • Configure the Gradebook
  • Create assignments and quizzes
  • Facilitate discussion forums
  • Use learning analytics to support student success
  • Streamline grading and feedback
