Zaaid Orrie

Zaaid Orrie responsible for managing and supporting the UCT’s learning technologies, leading the CILT Helpdesk team, and providing expert support to staff and students. My core functions include ensuring the effective use of learning technologies, troubleshooting technical issues, and promoting innovative uses of technology to enhance learning and teaching. 

My team and I work behind the scenes to ensure these technologies are running smoothly, so staff and students can focus on what matters most - learning and teaching. 

Collegues can engage with Zaaid in various ways: he offers technology support and troubleshooting for learning technologies, advice on selecting and implementing digital tools, training and workshops on learning technologies, and guidance on data and analytics. With over 8 years of experience in the EdTech field and a PGDip qualification, I've implemented enhanced support for learning technologies, making me a useful resource for your tech needs.
