Google's Notebook LM, powered by Google Gemini, is an AI tool designed for organising and summarisng information, as well as taking notes. Unlike common GenAI tools such as ChatGPT, Notebook LM users only interact with the sources they upload, including notes, documents, slides, and videos. Google positions it as a virtual research assistant, aiding users to understand information. This CILT Event session will demonstrate features of the free version of Notebook LM and explore some use cases in learning, teaching, and research.
