Lubabalo Badi
Lubabalo is a Senior Learning Technologies Consultant at CILT, where he supports the effective use of educational technologies to enhance teaching and learning. He works with staff and students across the university to promote, manage and provide support for a range of digital tools and platforms.
His role includes facilitating training workshops, providing consultation on the integration of technology into teaching practice, and offering just-in-time support via multiple channels. He has a particular interest in online assessment, lecture recording, and adaptive and personalised learning approaches.

Lubabalo holds a Bachelor’s and Honours degree in Information Systems from the University of the Western Cape and has over 15 years of experience in educational technologies, with a focus on application management and user support. He has contributed to institutional initiatives including UCT’s Language Policy Committee and the Learning Platforms Update Project (LPUP), supporting the selection and implementation of the Amathuba learning management system.
