Administrative support

Joe-Dean Roberts provides administrative support within CILT, contributing to both the Designing for Social Justice Partnership (DSJP) programme and the administration of short courses linked to the Postgraduate Diploma in Blended and Online Learning (BOLD).

Her work includes coordinating administrative processes, supporting programme activities, and contributing to the integration of administrative systems within UCT’s teaching and learning environment. Through her involvement in the DSJP programme, she engages in collaborative and co-creative approaches that support student–staff partnerships within higher education contexts in South Africa and across the Global South.

Joe-Dean holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences degree from the University of Cape Town, with majors in Gender Studies and Law, and is currently completing an LLB degree. Her interests include women’s and children’s rights, leadership in higher education, and socially just approaches to collaboration and institutional development.

In her free time, she enjoys reading, running and playing tennis.
