Thomas King

Thomas is a Learning Design Technical Specialist, based in the Centre for Innovation in Learning and Teaching (CILT). His primary job roles are supporting blended and online learning through investigating and implementing educational technology tools, providing training and consultative support in using said tools in UCT mainstream and short courses, and supporting broader institutional objectives related to the use of technology in teaching and learning. He also works on blended and online course development, assisting lecturers in building new online and blended courses. 

Thomas can support UCT courses and academics through individual or group consultations, covering topics such as online assessment design or using technology in blended and online learning and teaching.
