This short (four week) course uses online spaces to create a space for you to think about assessment. Through engaging with an assessment challenge of your own, you will be introduced to key concepts and common challenges of assessment in both face to fce and online spaces.
In order to get the most out of this experience, you will need to be able to schedule approximately two hours, distributed through the week, for engagement, and be eager to interact with others on issues pertaining to designing assessment. We imagine this course to be a stimulus to your deeper engagement with an assessment challenge and hope to walk part of that journey with you.
Who should participate in this course?
This workshop is designed for UCT staff who teach and/or plan or create assessments. We do however, have a number of guests from other institutions joining us.
